Black 2 San Francisco SUMMER 2024

Through Mayor Breed’s Opportunities for All initiative, San Francisco will launch Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) programming in June 2024.  

The programming is a collaboration with HBCUs and industry leaders. Students are invited to participate in a six-week summer session. Each session includes paid internships, seminars with guest lecturers and the opportunity to create and engage in rich cultural experiences in San Francisco.

Entry Requirements

Students currently attending an HBCU and students participating in BSUs from local colleges and universities are welcomed to apply.

Accommodations

Student housing will be provided at the University of San Francisco for non-Bay Area residents.

Travel 

Limited travel stipends are available for non-California residents.

Stipend

Participants receive a stipend for their internship.
